We are conducting a recall of CELERITETM Slimming Tea which you may have purchased from shapingbeauty.com.
Please read this Notice in full and follow the instructions below.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently found that CELERITETM may contain an undeclared drug ingredient called sibutramine. FDA findings suggest that sibutramine may be associated with adverse health consequence for certain individuals. As a safety measure, we are recalling all CELERITETM Slimming Tea products that were made available for purchase through our website in the last 12 months.

This is what CELERITETM Slimming Tea box looks like:
Each CELERITETM Slimming Tea box has 25 tea bags.
Each bag contains tea for brewing individually in a cup.
REASON FOR RECALL
These products are being recalled because the FDA found them to contain an undeclared drug ingredient, sibutramine. We were advised that initial FDA tests indicated a content of 12 mg. of sibutramine per tea bag. It is possible that the CELERITETM Slimming Tea box you purchased has no sibutramine. However, for your total safety, we are presently assuming that all CELERITETM products we received from the manufacturer contained sibutramine. It is better to be safe.
We have not received any direct reports of adverse health effects concerning CELERITETM from our valued customers. However, recent FDA findings suggest that Sibutramine may be associated with adverse health effects, particularly for those individuals with pre-existing conditions such as coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias or stroke.
Please consult your doctor on matters relating to your health. It could be dangerous to stop taking medicines or supplements, especially abruptly. You should talk to your physician to decide whether the benefits and risks of taking any supplement are right for your, specifically. If you feel you have a concern about the CELERITETM you have been taking, please check with your physician.
We recently recalled all CELERITETM Slimming Capsules sold through our website. Please visit our website for more information. It has also been reported that the popular diet drug Meridia® which contains sibutramine has caused heart stroke in patients already suffering from underlying heart problems. Because of that, Abbott Laboratories, the manufacturer of Meridia®, announced the voluntary withdrawal of the product from the market.

REASON FOR RECALL
These products are being recalled because the FDA found them to contain an undeclared drug
ingredient, sibutramine. Each CELERITETM pill contains 350 milligrams of ingredients. Initial
FDA tests indicated a content of 20 mg. of sibutramine per each 350 mg. pill. The FDA is
presently testing additional batches of CELERITETM products available through our website to
find out if they also contain sibutramine and its concentration. It is possible that the
CELERITETM box you purchased has no sibutramine. However, for your total safety, we are
presently assuming that all CELERITETM we received from the manufacturer contained
sibutramine. It is better to be safe.
